The way to make this not cause trouble is to actually make it check in<br>
the changes rather than just change the file. It's currently<br>
half-finished.<br>

I don't think it would be very hard to issue a 'git commit <file just<br>
edited>' just after each save. It won't always work, but it would put<br>
us in a better situation than currently.<br>
